On April 19th, 2018, six industrial workers in Metairie suffered serious injuries and required hospitalization after being electrocuted. The workers were atop a scaffolding structure that had apparently been
constructed there despite electrical wires being in the immediate vicinity.
University Medical Center admitted all six of the injured workers. Each one suffered acute burns due to the electrical shock but the details of the injuries were not released to the public.
The Chopin Law Firm LLC has been retained by one of the injured workers in order to explore the possibility of filing a claim for fair and maximized compensation. The workers and their employing company were all told that the lines had been de-energized. If true, the injured parties could be entitled to damages related to lost wages, medical bills, pain and suffering, and more. In the event of noncooperation from the concerned insurance parties, the New Orleans personal injury attorneys of The Chopin Law Firm LLC are capable of preparing their client’s case for courtroom litigation.
